My 7 Favorite Bar Soaps Under $2

Happy New Year Everybody! Are you ready to welcome 2018? Yes, whether we like it or not, we need to move forward and get back to work. Agree? Thus, goodbye and thank you 2017! Last year, my life was way better than 2016 and hopefully it will just continue to be better this new year. Please be good to me! Like you and like many, I also have high hopes for 2018. Anyhow, it's free! Positive vibes too.
Although I'm not the kind of person who writes a lot of "new year's resolutions" on his Starbucks planner, because I'm really not a fan of it, I'd still create new goals once in a while. Speaking of new, I'm so excited to announce that this 2018 my blog will now become a 100% Lifestyle Blog. Yes, it's legit baby! Just to share also, when I started this blog almost 3 years ago I was really torned between labeling my blog as travel blog and lifestyle blog. But, I thought it was easy to solve that dilemma for a guy with many interests. I realized later on that I needed to make my blog more personal, I mean "more me". That's why, I posted non-travel and non-food related articles, sadly not all the time.
No worries fellas! Because this year you will see and read more articles not only about travel and food but also my other interests.
Who loves to take a bath or shower? Me! Include me please. Living in the tropical country, the Philippines, is somewhat mandatory to take a shower everyday because it's so fast to get sweat and everyone wants to smell fresh. That's really not a problem for me and in fact it's favorable! Honestly, one of my interests is going to the grocery store almost everyday and one of the things I always need to buy is different kinds of soaps. As much as possible, cheap with great quality.
Taking a shower is really important for me because it's my "me time". Hence, everyday I give myself 30 minutes to an hour to shower, it's a must for me to clean myself very well by using different soaps, body scrub and natural oil. Sorry for being a bit self-loving.
So, since this is already an open book, might as well share to you also my "7 favorite bar soaps" and they are only under $2(roughly less than 100 Pesos). Sadly, these brands below did not pay me to endorse them. Simply, I just like these (household)brands in the Philippines and I will always buy them. Two reasons why I'm a fan of these brands? The smell and definitely the effect on my skin after shower.
Are you also using these brands? How do you find it? Come on, scroll it down. Thanks!

Do you like the soaps? Have you tried it before? They are really amazing on my skin and tell you what I've been using these products for more than 2 decades. Really trusted! Hopefully you like this new article, especially if you like to read blogs about skincare. Me too! Definitely, this won't be the last. So, while you are waiting for my new article, please don't forget to like, follow and subscribe on my

Mountains of the Philippines 2026: Mt. Pinatubo (Hike for a Cause: Walking with Purpose)

Hola a todos! It’s been super duper rainy these past few days—like, every five minutes! I hope you’re staying dry and safe, especially if you’re here in the Philippines. Please take extra care, everyone! And guess what? It’s August again, which means it’s my birth month! Yehey! How will I celebrate my birthday this year? Honestly, I don’t really know yet. I have a few little things I’d love to do with mi familia, but nothing too grand. I think I just want to keep it simple, just like the previous years. Mount Pinatubo Crater Lake God has been so good to me, always. I’m incredibly grateful for all the blessings He continues to give me, for the people He has placed in my life, and for the opportunity to be blessed so I can also be a blessing to others. Here’s to another year of life, love, lessons, and countless reasons to be grateful. Welcome back to another new blog post! Another day, another travel story to share. This time, let’s talk about hiking. Let me ask you—have...

Makati City: The "Gangnam Style" Experience At Gentleman Korean Restaurant

Ahn-nyeong-ha-se-yo!(that's hello in korean, and that's all I know) Welcome to Korea! Ooppss! Just kidding, I haven't been there yet though, hopefully the soonest? Well, as they say "keep your fingers crossed". Anyway, while the skies are cloudy and dark gray outside, downpour is about to start, me here typing my new post for my blog while enjoying my brewed coffee. Hope you're at your best mode while reading this too, now let's talk about Korea! Not really about their country but my experience eating in a korean restaurant last year with my japanese friends. It was after our business meeting when I was invited to join them for dinner. At first I didn't know where would we eat, I was somehow understood them but all I heard that time was "gentleman". It was just a treat, so I had no choice but to say okay than no way. I honestly miss them now, sadly I can't speak fluent "nihongo", the japanese language, so they had no opti...
