My 7 Favorite Bar Soaps Under $2

Happy New Year Everybody! Are you ready to welcome 2018? Yes, whether we like it or not, we need to move forward and get back to work. Agree? Thus, goodbye and thank you 2017! Last year, my life was way better than 2016 and hopefully it will just continue to be better this new year. Please be good to me! Like you and like many, I also have high hopes for 2018. Anyhow, it's free! Positive vibes too.
Although I'm not the kind of person who writes a lot of "new year's resolutions" on his Starbucks planner, because I'm really not a fan of it, I'd still create new goals once in a while. Speaking of new, I'm so excited to announce that this 2018 my blog will now become a 100% Lifestyle Blog. Yes, it's legit baby! Just to share also, when I started this blog almost 3 years ago I was really torned between labeling my blog as travel blog and lifestyle blog. But, I thought it was easy to solve that dilemma for a guy with many interests. I realized later on that I needed to make my blog more personal, I mean "more me". That's why, I posted non-travel and non-food related articles, sadly not all the time.
No worries fellas! Because this year you will see and read more articles not only about travel and food but also my other interests.
Who loves to take a bath or shower? Me! Include me please. Living in the tropical country, the Philippines, is somewhat mandatory to take a shower everyday because it's so fast to get sweat and everyone wants to smell fresh. That's really not a problem for me and in fact it's favorable! Honestly, one of my interests is going to the grocery store almost everyday and one of the things I always need to buy is different kinds of soaps. As much as possible, cheap with great quality.
Taking a shower is really important for me because it's my "me time". Hence, everyday I give myself 30 minutes to an hour to shower, it's a must for me to clean myself very well by using different soaps, body scrub and natural oil. Sorry for being a bit self-loving.
So, since this is already an open book, might as well share to you also my "7 favorite bar soaps" and they are only under $2(roughly less than 100 Pesos). Sadly, these brands below did not pay me to endorse them. Simply, I just like these (household)brands in the Philippines and I will always buy them. Two reasons why I'm a fan of these brands? The smell and definitely the effect on my skin after shower.
Are you also using these brands? How do you find it? Come on, scroll it down. Thanks!

Do you like the soaps? Have you tried it before? They are really amazing on my skin and tell you what I've been using these products for more than 2 decades. Really trusted! Hopefully you like this new article, especially if you like to read blogs about skincare. Me too! Definitely, this won't be the last. So, while you are waiting for my new article, please don't forget to like, follow and subscribe on my

Paradise Philippines 2025: Siargao

Para, para, paradise!! Lovely morning, y’all! How’s everyone doing? It’s already May, and so much has been happening lately, office dramas, rotational brownouts, mood swings, the rainy season creeping in, rising inflation, bits of great news, and heartbreaking headlines caused by corrupt politicians. But through it all, you and I still have to keep moving forward, keep showing up, and keep choosing life every single day. That’s probably why little escapes and quiet moments away from the noise feel extra special these days. Today, we’re diving into a new blog post, and I have a question for you: if you were given the chance to escape today — even just for a little while — away from all the responsibilities and stress of the world, where would you go? Would you finally visit the place you’ve been dreaming about for so long? Or would you rather wander off to somewhere random, with no plans at all? More than two years ago, I found myself asking this question: now that I finally had...

WOW Philippines 2024: Moalboal (Cebu Again)

Cebu , I’m back—back for you. I’ve missed you, and I hope you’ve missed me too. Welcome me again as I begin to explore you even deeper. Let me start by saying this: this trip happened almost three years ago, at a time when life felt unbearably heavy. After everything I went through, I needed an escape—a moment to breathe. And this journey became exactly that. It was my oasis in the middle of a desert, a quiet refuge when everything else felt chaotic. In many ways, it felt like something heaven-sent—an answered prayer that gently helped soothe and steady my heart. What about you—how do you cope when life takes an unexpected turn? How do you rise after everything seems to fall apart? And when the unforeseen happens, when you feel completely unprepared, how do you begin again? Have you ever come across the idea of grounding, or “ earthing ”? I started noticing it through videos online, and from what I understand, it’s essentially about reconnecting with the earth—...

Museo San Agustin Intramuros: Tale Of The Oldest Stone Church In The Philippines

It's not fool to say that April month is on its way! Aren't you excited? One more week to go and we need to turn another calendar page. What are you looking forward to? Yey! The long wait is almost over and I can feel the summer here in the Philippines. Without a doubt, one of the things you have on your list this April is "grand vacation". For students, definitely a much longer hours of sleep since officially most are already on school break this time. For catholics, let's not forget that Holy Week falls on April this year. Are you ready for the Visita Iglesia(church visit)? Well, you're maybe still on the process of searching for your seven churches and if I'm correct you might wanna consider  San Agustin Church especially if your route is just within Manila City. Aside from Casa Manila, this is also a must-see place in the Walled City, Intramuros . It was last year when I visited this church for the holy week also and that was the only time I had a ch...
