Quezon City: Sunrise in the Circle

Good Morning Sunshine! What comes in your mind when you see sunrise?  I remember when I attended a meeting before that talks about sales and marketing the speaker greeted us good morning even if it was already afternoon. He then said that saying good morning towards people has a positive impact. It's like you are opening door for a new beginning or another chance to someone. This keeps people become more motivated. I was really moved thereafter. It helped me to appreciate more what sunrise wants to convey to all of us. Whether you like it or not sun will rises in the bay. There's always a morning to expect. In our lives, in this generation now we become more impatient, we always want instant. We despair easily, we give up right away. I hope that everyone would widen their mind and strengthen their emotions. In our lives there's really a time that we will encounter sunset where we need to sleep and prepare so that when we wake up for another day we are ready and can face the sunrise. So, let us not lose hope, there's always a brighter morning. You know I am getting deep now but I hope you'd learn from it. "We can learn something in what is happening in our surroundings"

I'm Back! Welcome 2016! Ok, so it was almost 2 months since I posted my last entry on my blog and now I am super ready to post for more this year. I was busy at work and totally exhausted on these same old routine so to break it I am going back blogging. For my 7th entry it will be a flashback. Yes, Flashback! I guess because this entry suppose to be posted last year but due to procrastination this is the only and (maybe) perfect time that I'll be able share this. This happened after we had a staycation in Microtel Manila, my friend Rachel who lived in Quezon City convinced me to go on overnight with ate Che in their house, I was not sure at first but I decided to go with them afterwards. I still had 2 spare days that time since I was on vacation leave. My main purpose was because they told that we would run in U.P. (University of the Philippines) Diliman by morning the following day. They were concerned about me because I brought running shoes and sweat shirt. I thought I could go to the gym in Microtel but I have not seen any even stationary bicycle. They felt sorry on what they said. Really sorry for me too. But I appreciated how they pacified me though. We slept early that's why we succeeded to wake up roughly 5 am. When my super loved friends Rachel and Ate Che woke up, at the very last minute said that we would run in "Circle" instead. I just agreed and said "eitherway, is ok"

When I ran in Quezon Memorial Circle. We went there almost 7 in the morning, sun was really bright but not hot which is really perfect time to run and get sweat.I indeed love running. That was my first, to spend in a long span of time in the circle. It was also my 2nd time to go there. My first was back in our high school fieldtrip. Quezon City though it's still in Metro Manila I find it really far. Circle is also a perfect place to run. I would surely go If I'm near there. It is a well maintained national park surrounded by trees.

Memorable picture of the sunrise behind this mausoleum. I was really trying hard in photography and I think this shot was good.

National Shrine. This very distinct mausoleum where you can see inside the remains of our 2nd official Phillipine President.

My closest friends Ate Che and Rachel (Me in the middle) As if I really know how to bike lol 😁😆 But I really tried at first it's just that it really didn't work, so why self flagellate. I also missed them.

A Three Wheeler for me. Sadly, I was one of the kids in 90's who did not get a chance to learn how to bike (two wheeler) so this was the result of my innocence. This was one of the activities we did in the circle. We rented each 100 pesos for an hour. I enjoyed it and really sweat alot.

Coconut Juice to energize. One of the important things in running is to restore fluid in your body to keep you up.We had also a chance to go in an area where there were different gym equipments you can use to improve a specific part of your body. It was like an outdoor gym, those were unique for me since that was my first time to see those.

We ate street foods in U.P. Diliman. Before we went back home, we had a short visit in sunken garden in U.P. to eat siomai and fruit shake.

And this is how I would like to end this. Well, I may not have enough knowledge about the history of Quezon Memorial Circle or U.P. Diliman but one thing I can guaranty is I gained memories here.  From that sunrise to running. From riding a three wheeler to eating street foods again in U.P. Looking forward to go here again!

Museo San Agustin Intramuros: Tale Of The Oldest Stone Church In The Philippines

It's not fool to say that April month is on its way! Aren't you excited? One more week to go and we need to turn another calendar page. What are you looking forward to? Yey! The long wait is almost over and I can feel the summer here in the Philippines. Without a doubt, one of the things you have on your list this April is "grand vacation". For students, definitely a much longer hours of sleep since officially most are already on school break this time. For catholics, let's not forget that Holy Week falls on April this year. Are you ready for the Visita Iglesia(church visit)? Well, you're maybe still on the process of searching for your seven churches and if I'm correct you might wanna consider  San Agustin Church especially if your route is just within Manila City. Aside from Casa Manila, this is also a must-see place in the Walled City, Intramuros . It was last year when I visited this church for the holy week also and that was the only time I had...

New Bombay: Authentic Indian Cuisine

Hello world! How are we doing so far? Are you enjoying your coffee while reading this blog? I hope so. I don't know why I'm so tired today and I don't feel like doing anything, I just wanna lay in my bed. Yeah, blame Bruno Mars! Just kidding! Yeah, it is a lazy day today. Sadly, as much as I want to sleep, I still need to finish this new article. Perhaps brewed coffee is the best answer to boost my mood. Oh my! Believe it or not, a new month is approaching. Happy February in advance! Time flies, I feel like this year for me is about food adventures. It's just my prediction but you know it's really not a secret that Filipinos love to eat and try new things. Nowadays, more people are becoming adventure seekers toward the dishes they eat and more people are starting to appreciate different cuisines than before. Perfect example are my colleagues. Don't include me, I'm hiding.  We are new in our company and we thought that the best way to bond is to ...

Bauan, Batangas: The Immaculately Beautiful Sunset In Sampaguita Beach (Certified Boracay Alternative)

Describe, Boracay ? Beautiful and oh my, very beautiful! That's all I can say. Have you been to that paradise, in the Philippines ? Have you heard the news? It's been almost five years since I first visited this popular holiday destination in my country, merely to relax and enjoy life with my friends. I can say, it's truly a memorable vacation because it was also my first plane ride. Brrr! I still remember how cold the aircraft cabin was. It was freezing cold. Just like you, I'm also missing this true heaven on earth. I'm missing its powdery white sand, barefoot walking, Puka Beach , perfect turquoise water, dramatic sunset, super fun nightlife, yummy seafood, island hopping and my favorite ATV(all-terrain vehicle) ride. Oh goodness! How soon can I experience these again? Perhaps, tomorrow? Sure! Sadly, we can neither go tomorrow nor next week. "Breaking News: Time to say goodbye, Boracay will be closed for 6 months" . I wish it's a fake news ...
